Who here is so lazy that they rather sit through a crappy song than get up and change it? Me, of course! So this would be great for me if I:
A) Had a iPhone.
B) Was a iTunes user.
With iRemote you can remotely control iTunes from your iPhone!
Want to know how to set it up? Granted, you need a router for this, but other than that these are the instructions:
- Unzip everything
- Transfer iRemote to your iphone via ssh, 775 it.
- Open the other iremote software packaged in the zip on your PC.
- Press “Start”
- On the left you can see TASKS, and FILENAME. You can ignore tasks for now, just add in any file (full path) you want to launch into the FILENAME textbox, press Add.
- This will be sequential. In your iphone you will have 5 options to launch. the first file you insert will be the first option.
- To know your computer’s IP address, go start > Run , type “CMD’ and type ipconfig.
- On your iphone, launch iRemote. type in the computer’s ip address. then press return.
- If everything works well, a welcome sign will be shown. and 5 options are there for you to select.
Some users have noted that the program doesn’t work. Wahkiz suggests downloading the appropriate OCX from here, and use it together with iRemote. Also be sure that your iPhone and your PC are on the same wireless network.
Remember people, this IS a beta, it’s not shiny or anything as of right now.
Download it here!
