Facebook has been testing a new instant messaging service and will be launching it to the general public soon, hopefully in the coming week. It’s said that this service will be built into the Facebook pages to webchat with friends rather than a standalone IM client, like AIM or Myspace IM.
I’ve also read that it won’t be Jabber-Compliant, at least for now, which means it won’t be included in Trillian, Pidgen, or anything of that sort unless they create an API and/or third parties figure out a way to hack into the service as they have done with Yahoo, MSN and AIM before.
A little bit of yourself in this section. There are 3 three text graphics associated to this section; Subscribe me, Advertisements and About Me. I hope either one will suit your need.
